Our mission

The first-hand experiences of the founder team from working within and alongside these businesses led to the design and development of the Grapevine platform to build an effective and efficient platform to connect employers and job seekers.

Throughout our careers we have also witnessed the gap in the market that exists for a hiring platform specialising in the jobs commonly applied for by budding talent. These industries typically experience high turnover of staff; however no efficient methods exist for job seekers to apply, nor for businesses to sort and review the applications received.

Grapevine is a purpose build employment solution for fast-moving businesses in the hospitality, retail, entertainment, and other similar industries to make the process of hiring of talent and finding jobs in these industries easier.

Jake Roberts

Co-Founder

Jake comes from a professional accounting and advisory background. His specialties include outsourced CFO functions, tax, and compliance. Jake’s clients included numerous retail and hospitality businesses which all faced staffing issues. He completed a Bachelor of Business graduating with distinction from The University of Technology Sydney, and is a Chartered Accountant.

Co-Founder

Chris has a backgound in software, development, cloud, devops, and platform engineering. Having worked for large businesses as well as being involved in a number of startups and other projects, Chris brings a depth of experience in building and deploying solutions.
